About Us
Chinese-American Sports and Community Service Association (CASCSA) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Our mission is committed to Chinese-American cultural exchanges and athletic events to provide sport activities in order to enrich peoples lives and fitness so we can bring more positive energy to our New York City community.
Since 2012, CASCSA has successfully organized more than six large-scale volleyball and two table tennis (ping-pong) tournaments in our communities. Our participating players come from the local areas, across the United States and Canada. In addition, our events have attracted a diverse number of people. This was all made possible through the generous contributions from our sponsors and donors.
We are very grateful towards FDR High School for letting the community use its gyms for our sport clubs. This gym has approximately twenty-thousand square feet of indoor courts and has excellent equipment – perfect for year-round sport activities such as table-tennis (ping-pong), basketball, volleyball, and youth training sport programs.
We work on a “Bring Your Kids to the Gym” program which will provide the youth with more variety in terms of sports and games as well as sports learning, such as table-tennis (ping-pong), basketball and volleyball training lessons. Our hope for our students is to get more involved with sports so they can improve their health, interpersonal communication skills, develop interest in sports, and enhance a good relationship with our family.
CASCSA’s address is: 5712 19th Avenue, Brooklyn NY, 11204 (Located at the intersection of 58th Street and 19th Avenue). We are open every Sunday from 12:00pm – 7:00pm.
We are looking forward to having your support and to seeing you at the event. For questions, please feel free to contact any of our board members.
